DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS !!! In its current form the experience is EXTREMLY bad, you will work on automating a model processing line using a PLC for the entierty of the semester, worth half of your final grade. All of the models are broken, the tools you will use are bad and broken, documentation is almost non existent other than the official one from the PLC manufacturer, but guess what? the PLC you will be working on does not support all of the tings listed in the docs and there is no way to know what you can and cant do. If you encounter any problems well tough luck, the professor does not know how to fix even half of them. At the end you will have to write a DETAILED report, something like 20+ pages of what you did, meanwhile the actual finished project will look like a kids toy. If you fail to get 50% on the project you cant take the exam. If you do make it to the exam, well then its time to memorize 100+ questions about the theory of process automation, which is just plain boring since its written in a theoretical way while actualy being quite simple to understand practicaly. All in all you will feel dread every time you walk into that classroom unless you are a masohist, in that case i recommend you take this class. (this review was wiritten in english because most of the students that take this hellhole of a class are FX students, so in case they see this they know to avoid it like the plague)
